I was excited this week to read an update via his blog of friends of ours that have been living in South Africa since August last year. My married friends Kay and Stef (Stef being the bloke) have been living in what they are considering (technology wise) to be a third world country. South Africa, has fallen short of meeting their digital and technology needs, and so the lack of hi-speed internet connection and inability to buy the latest tech products has been really taking a toll on their happiness to be there in the first place. So I was touched to hear about the incredible lengths my friend Stef went to to surprise Kay for her birthday, proving both chocolate combined with technology is really the way to a girl’s heart.
